Welcome to the website of Mu Eta Omega (MHO) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® (AKA) located in the Manhattan, Junction City, and Fort Riley, Kansas area. For over 40 years, the Mu Eta Omega Chapter has done its part to hold true to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's clear focus of providing “service to all mankind”.
Our current international program theme during 2022-2026 is Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood. As it has been articulated by our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, we will work towards six initiatives: Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift our Local Community
The strength of our chapter lies in the diversity of its members. Though we are a small chapter, our chapter members range in age from 25-80+ years of age and represent women in the fields of education, medicine, social services, and a variety of other professional careers throughout the Manhattan, Junction, and Fort Riley, Kansas community.
