The Mu Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was chartered on June 16, 1978 in Manhattan, Fort Riley, and Junction City, Kansas.  Our chapter has a rich heritage of women making a difference in the local community and internationally in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.  The charter members of Mu Eta Omega are: Carmel R. Alexander, Joann R. G Boyd, Della Powell Burks, Juanette Lewis Foster, Ellen Murphy Jackson, Jacqueline Malone Jackson, Laverne C. Jenkins, Emma Johnson Loud, Elease Mitchell, Dorna D. Gray Reid, Linda Gayle Moore Scales, Joyce Elaine Smith, Robin E. Walker, Martha L. Wilson, Rosemarie H. World.

Our chapter serves as the advising chapter of the Kappa Pi Chapter at Kansas State University.
